Announcing the April 2025 Roundhouse Makerspace programs!

  • These programs are free and are funded by the Franklin County Agricultural Society and intended to inspire participants to enter their projects in the Fair.
  • Due to the popularity of these programs, we ask that you sign up for no more than 2 at a time. We’ll be offering more programs in the upcoming months.
  • Classes are intended for ages 13 through adult

Learn how to decorate eggs using the traditional wax resist technique with artist and librarian Francesca Passiglia

The Society's mission is to promote agriculture, the arts, and family entertainment and to continuously invest in preservation of the historic fairgrounds. The Friends of the Franklin County Fairgrounds serves as the fundraising arm of the Society.

Historic Preservation

The Franklin County Fairgrounds was listed on the National Park Service's National Registry of Historical Places in 2011.
