Pioneer Valley Kennel Club promotes responsible dog ownership and training opportunities for dog owners. The Extrazaganza allows handlers and their dogs to test their skills in a variety of sport catagories. Five AKC testing events are held within the same day. Fetch, AKC Temperament Test, Farm Dog Certifcation, Canine Good Citizen and Trick Dog. Dogs exhibiting have the opportunity to fulfil AKC requirements to obtain a title within their test area. Exhibitors can test in one or all tests, pending the interest and skill level of their dog.

Spectators welcome, No charge
All breeds and All American dogs welcome to enter (AKC registration # required) exhibitors pay entry fees

About Us

The Franklin County Fairgrounds is owned and managed by the Franklin County Agricultural Society. The Society's mission is to promote agriculture, the arts, and family entertainment and to continuously invest in preservation of the historic fairgrounds. The Friends of the Franklin County Fairgrounds serves as the fundraising arm of the Society.

Historic Preservation

The Franklin County Fairgrounds was listed on the National Park Service's National Registry of Historical Places in 2011.
