There is no set closing time for the fair, though generally it's open until at least 9pm on Thursday and Sunday, and at least 10pm on Friday and Saturday. Poor weather may result in an earlier closing time.
Buildings include Roundhouse, Youth Hall, Fish & Wildlife, Museum, Dole Building, Baby Barnyard, Grandstand, Poultry, and Rabbits.
The Franklin County Fairgrounds is managed by the Franklin County Agricultural Society, an organization that: promotes agriculture, farming, and the humanities through exhibition; is a host for cultural and humanitarian events and fundraisers; recognizes our stewardship to improve and maintain our historic fairgrounds. The Friends of the Franklin County Fairgrounds serves as the fundraising arm of the Society.
Franklin County Fair
The 173rd annual Franklin County Fair will be held at the Franklin County Fairgrounds in Greenfield, Massachusetts, from September 8-11, 2022.
The fair was named by Globe Magazine as one of the "10 Great New England Fairs" in 2015.
